What sort of rooms is Taterra suitable for?
Taterra is designed for high-traffic living areas and impresses with its excellent dimensional stability. The combination of a durable surface and a natural feel makes this flooring suitable for a wide range of uses – from living rooms and bedrooms to open-plan areas with plenty of sunlight.
Can Taterra be used in damp rooms?
Yes, Taterra is water-resistant for up to 100 hours and is therefore suitable for rooms where water may occasionally be present. For areas that are permanently wet, please ensure you use suitable system solutions and follow the installation instructions provided in the package leaflet.
Installation
How is Taterra laid?
Taterra can be laid as a floating floor on a level subfloor. To ensure the best possible finish, we recommend using a suitable PE film and an appropriate underlay to level out any unevenness and control thermal expansion.
Is it possible to lay the flooring over underfloor heating?
Yes. Taterra is suitable for floating installation over hot-water underfloor heating systems. The maximum surface temperature should not exceed 29 °C in order to prevent stress in the material.
Care
How do I look after my Taterra flooring?
Taterra is easy to maintain. Regular vacuuming or wiping with a slightly damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid abrasive cleaners, hot-steam cleaners and polishes, as these can damage the surface. Neutral, pH-neutral cleaners and products from the Parador care range are suitable for cleaning.
How can I keep my floor in good condition in the long term?
Protect the floor from dirt, use soft felt pads under furniture and avoid direct sunlight without protection.

Taterra combines resource-efficient technology with responsible material selection. The base is made from around 90 per cent renewable raw materials. The electron-beam-hardened polypropylene surface ensures high durability whilst reducing the amount of material used. The result is a sustainable solution that consistently combines quality, environmental responsibility and future-proof design.

The ultra-matt, finely textured surface provides a warm, pleasantly natural feel underfoot – whether barefoot or in shoes.
Is Taterra scratch-resistant?
Taterra is very hard-wearing, but not completely scratch-resistant. Minor surface scratches may occur if hard, sharp objects are dragged across the floor for a prolonged period.
