Terracotta is back!
For a long time, the warm colour terracotta – translated as "baked earth" – had disappeared from living rooms; at its mention, interior fans thought at most of the wiping technique on walls in many homes in the 90s. But now the shade is making a comeback and proving that it is here to stay.
In combination with neutral tones
Vases and decorative objects made of clay are a real must-have in 2021 and are bringing back the colour terracotta. Yet it does not have to be an all-over look, because terracotta is the perfect accent colour for neutral tones like grey, white and black. Whether as a cushion cover, lamp or decorative accessory – the subtle and warm terracotta creates cosiness.
Particularly bold people opt for its large-scale use as a wall colour. Terracotta looks warm and homely, is less noisy than red and not as cute as pink. Moreover, it can be perfectly combined with both light and dark types of wood.
Elegant, warm and classic, terracotta nestles against the dark engineered wood flooring, Classic 3060 Thermo oak medium brushed, which looks particularly timeless thanks to its rich colour and brushed texture.

Engineered wood flooring
In contrast to the light wood of the Parador engineered wood flooring, Classic 3060 Oak sanded, with its very light surface that looks untreated, the warm, red tone on the other hand shows that it also goes well with a cool counterpart and is an ideal complement to the currently popular Scandi style.
