Parador has been awarded the accolade of being "particularly sustainable"
Coesfeld, in May 2022 – On behalf of the "Welt" daily newspaper, the rating agency Service Value has published the "Sustainability Champions" study for the first time. In the study, it was highlighted which companies stand out among consumers as particularly sustainable. Parador comes out as being particularly sustainable in the "flooring manufacturer" category.
Sustainability catches the eye
With an index of 2.53, Parador has now been assessed with the highest rating as "particularly sustainable" in the context of the "Sustainability Champions" study. "For Parador, sustainable commitment in all the essential areas with which our products come into contact over their life cycle is an integral part of the corporate strategy. The very good performance in this study shows that our measures are perceived and appreciated by consumers. Therefore, we are proud of this positive assessment and see it as an incentive to further advance and communicate our efforts,“ says Stefan Kükenhöhner, Managing Director of Parador.
For the "Sustainability Champions" study, which was carried out for the first time this year, around 288,000 consumer opinions were collected on 1,163
companies and brands from 76 industries. In order to determine the "Sustainability Champions", consumers were asked on an online panel to what extent they could agree with the statement based on their own information and experience that the companies being examined were environmentally conscious and ecologically sustainable. The responses were recorded using a five-level approval scale, which was used to calculate a personal "Sustainability Awareness Score" (SAS) for each company and brand.
These averages are the basis for individual rankings per industry as well as for a large, cross-industry ranking. Companies whose average values are lower than the overall average value of their respective industry receive the "very sustainable" accolade. Companies that additionally have an even lower and therefore even better average value than the providers already awarded the accolade are attributed the "particularly sustainable" rating.
