Parador Open Frameworks Design Edition is "Product of the Year"
Coesfeld, September 2019 – This year for the first time, the publishing house, Callwey Verlag, has also chosen the products of the year in the "Houses of the Year" competition. In the category "Engineered wood flooring, laminate flooring and design flooring", the prize went to the "Open Frameworks Design Edition" by Hadi Teherani.

The winners of the renowned competition were honoured at an awards ceremony at the German Architecture Museum in Frankfurt on 25 September. For the first time, awards were presented in various categories for construction-related products in addition to outstanding entries from the field of architecture.
With the Open Frameworks Design Edition, which was conceived in collaboration with the Hamburg star architect Hadi Teherani, last year Parador presented a unique engineered wood and laminate flooring collection that redefines innovative design on the floor. The "Open Frameworks Design Edition" combines different colours and shapes into a completely new approach to flooring design, whose creative boundaries are infinitely extended: the plank elements of the engineered wood and laminate flooring can be combined in a variety of ways and create room for nearly unlimited design options.
The Open Frameworks design collection has already received several awards for this, including the Red Dot Award for product design, the German Design Award, the European Design Award and the Iconic Award.
