Coesfeld, June 2018 – Modular ONE, the new design flooring from Parador, has now been awarded the "Blauer Engel" eco-label.
With its product innovation Modular ONE, Parador has added a genuine all-rounder to its range, which impresses not only with its extremely authentic look and feel, but also with its inner values: Modular ONE is PVC and plasticiser-free, "Made in Germany" and meets the highest demands for healthy living. For this, the resilient floor covering has now been awarded the "Blauer Engel" eco-label.
The "Blauer Engel" is the Federal Government's eco-label for the protection of people and the environment. It guarantees that products and services meet high environmental and health requirements as well as performance characteristics. Products with the Blue Angel meet a catalogue of criteria that takes environmental and health protection aspects into account. In this respect, buying "Blauer Engel" products is a guarantee for good products with a lower environmental impact and a high level of health protection.
In particular, the "Blauer Engel" highlights three environmental and health benefits for Modular ONE:
- Modular ONE does not contain pollutants that are of concern to the home environment and that interfere with recycling – especially in the coating
- Modular ONE is mainly produced from the renewable raw material wood
- Parador uses wood from sustainable forestry
In addition, Modular ONE is durable, easy to maintain and, thanks to its suitability for wet rooms and high dimensional stability, can be used in any room, including bathrooms and conservatories. Thanks to its integrated acoustic counter layer and the elastic surface, the floor covering is also particularly quiet and pleasantly warm underfoot.
Eight long and eleven short planks in eleven decors newly developed by Parador promise an ambitious and contemporary collection. Besides the top seller of oak, the Modular ONE range also shows off modern softwood finishes plus, as a trendy highlight in the "Fusion" decor, the exciting combination of wood and stone look. The range of decors goes from light to dark, from classic to modern and underlines the versatile character of Modular ONE.
Both on the classic and on the long plank format, an all-round varnished bevel emphasises the authentic appearance. The waterproof surface and the special core board provide reliable protection against moisture and make Modular ONE an ideal design floor covering in all rooms – including kitchens and wet rooms.
