With Eco Balance PUR floor coverings we are reacting to the increased demands on all aspects of today's living and are setting standards in terms of ecology in the field of resilient floor coverings. The tried and tested product properties of these resilient floorings are achieved on the basis of an ecological material - without making compromises with regard to design and quality. The Eco Balance PUR floorings use the modern, versatile and safe material polyurethane – PUR for short – which is already used in everyday items such as household sponges, cosmetics or toothbrushes. With the "Made in Germany" distinction, Eco Balance PUR guarantees the highest standards of quality and design.
Materiality
The modern and versatile material polyurethane – PUR for short – gives the Eco Balance PUR flooring a special elasticity, which protects the joints, makes it warm underfoot and at the same time durable. Free of plasticisers and harmful emissions, this low-noise floor covering conserves resources and particularly promotes healthy living. The core material of the Eco Balance PUR flooring is a highly compressed fibreboard, whose wood fibres come from domestic, sustainable forestry and the recyclable materials from the timber industry. The decors are printed on certified paper with a high recycled content and water-based inks based on pigments free of heavy metals. The surfaces and decors are pleasing in their authentic form and feel, and pick up on current furnishing trends. The integrated acoustic backing made of cork smooths out bumps in the substrate and supports the particularly pleasant room acoustics.
Technology
Parador Eco Balance PUR is characterised by a functional structure and intelligent technology. Our patented click system guarantees easy installation, while the swell-resistant core board provides reliable protection against moisture. The integrated acoustic backing made of cork not only compensates for bumps in the substrate, but also helps the particularly pleasant room acoustics. Eco Balance PUR is suitable for underfloor heating systems.
Healthy living
Eco Balance PUR only uses tested raw materials for the ecological production of healthy living products. The production is free of plasticisers. Residues from wood and leftover machining waste are fed back into the production cycle. For the wear layer we use the sophisticated material polyurethane, which gives the floor its unmistakable properties. Eco Balance PUR essentially consists of natural raw materials, which are used sparingly by us and are subject to constant monitoring. Eco Balance PUR is PEFC certified, which guarantees a controlled processing chain and the reforestation of the forests concerned – independently monitored, fully traceable and sustainable for the environment.

In France, a national marking for interior air quality applies for decorative products, which include laminate flooring, engineered wood flooring, panels, and moulding.
"Blue Angel"
Identifies low-emission products made of wood and wood materials. The test criteria include requirements regarding: origin of wood, formaldehyde, VOC, indoor air quality, packaging, recycling/waste disposal, consumer information and requirements for liquid and normal coating systems.
FloorScore®
FloorScore® is the one of the most recognized indoor air quality
(IAQ) certification standards for hard surface flooring materials,
adhesives, and underlayments. Developed by SCS with the Resilient
Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), a leading industry trade association
of flooring manufacturers and suppliers, it qualifies for many green
building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHPS.
CE marking
The CE marking is obligatory according to EU law in connection with product safety. It is not a seal of approval (quality mark). The abbreviation "CE" stands for Communauté Européenne (French for "European Community"). The CE marking is frequently called a "passport" for the internal European market. The manufacturer or distributor confirms the conformity of the product with the applicable EU Construction Products Regulation (BauPVO) 305/2011 (since 01 July 2013) and compliance with the "essential requirements" specified there via a declaration of performance (DOP). Since 01 July 2007, the CE marking pursuant to EN 14041 is obligatory for “resilient, textile flooring and laminate flooring".
TÜV Rheinland certified
The TÜV test mark guarantees perfect product quality, product safety, comprehensible user documentation and independent monitoring of the product by the objective institute TÜV Rheinland Germany.
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes
This trademark is awarded to products that meet the requirements of the certification system for the documentation and improvement of sustainable forest management with regards to economic, ecological and social standards. The content of the certification system is based on international resolutions that were passed by 37 nations in the pan-European process during the Ministerial Conference for the Protection of Forests in Europe (Helsinki, Lisbon 1998).
