The Design District is an area in Dubai developed especially for artists and creative people. Start-ups, agencies and studios, surrounded by stylish restaurants, cafés and shops, form the heart of life and work in the district established in 2015, which is planned to be gradually extended by 2019. A thoroughly innovative and modern architecture, as well as its picturesque promenade located right by the water, have made the Design District a popular meeting place for locals and tourists within a short space of time.
The Craft Café has been inviting people to come enjoy its selection of hand-made, healthy and light meals, drinks and desserts since March 2016. Stylish and at the same time comfortable lounge furniture, lovingly selected deco details and a bright, expansive interior design with an open kitchen give the Craft Café its very special charm: modern and playful at the same time.
A place to relax and slow down. The engineered wood flooring Oak Smoked Elephant Skin, with its hand-crafted surface also contributes towards this, harmonising perfectly with the white and brown furniture and gold deco elements. True to the motto of the Craft Café: "Home, happy, homegrown".
