Gold certification for sustainability management
Coesfeld, March 2023 - At Parador, sustainability is firmly anchored in the corporate culture. At Parador, living with high standards goes hand in hand with the responsibility to preserve nature for future generations – and at the same time bring the environment, social issues and the economy into perfect balance. Parador has its sustainability measures audited by EcoVadis, a global provider of sustainability ratings, among others. Now these efforts by the company have been honoured with a gold medal.
EcoVadis honours achievements
With a score of more than 70 out of 100, Parador has once again improved its rating in 2023 and was awarded an EcoVadis medal in gold for this achievement. With this result, Parador is among the top five percent of the companies assessed by EcoVadis. The sustainability rating by EcoVadis evaluates 21 criteria from the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. "After immediately being awarded the silver medal in our first year, we are very pleased to have now achieved the gold medal with our second year of participation," explains Pier Vincenzo Marozzi, CTO of Parador. "With the publication of our first sustainability report in autumn 2022 as well as a multitude of smaller and larger internal measures, we have consistently developed our sustainability management over the past year. This is now also evidenced by the excellent results in the EcoVadis rating. For us, this is both an incentive and an obligation for the future."
