Materiality
Nature is a unique artist. Wood is a living thing and changes over time; every tree is unique, every plank a unique specimen. Using this knowledge and by applying various formats, assortments and surface treatments, an attractive product range emerges at Parador that leaves no requirements of high quality engineered wood flooring open. But not only in terms of appearance does wood play a decisive role for us. We also use only wood in the 3-layer sandwich construction of our engineered wood flooring planks. For the middle layer we use domestic spruce/fir, which is processed so specially that only vertical annual rings can be found for the highest demands. The backing is also made of spruce, which is produced in a peeling process and thus saves resources.
Technology
Parador engineered wood flooring impresses with a large choice of individual design options, outstanding quality and intelligent technology. Special click mechanisms make cumbersome tools superfluous and the installation process particularly simple and stable, regardless of whether the flooring is done as a floating installation or glued over the entire area. The lamella and top layer impregnation carried out at the factory protects against moisture. The product structure in three layers leads to high dimensional stability. The top layer of exclusive solid wood in combination with high-quality surface finishes guarantees that the durable products retain their value.
Healthy living
Parador engineered wood flooring is low on emissions and allergens and ensures a pleasant indoor climate. We are happy to prove this by using only materials that are healthy for the home in our engineered wood flooring. Test certificates issued by TÜV, LGA and Blue Angel give our customers the necessary security. Furthermore, wood has a climate regulating effect, has a long life cycle and can be renovated and cleaned easily several times, making our engineered wood flooring perfect for households with pets, children and allergy sufferers.
Product lines
Basic
Those who are price-conscious yet don't want to forgo quality will find in the Basic line a convincing selection of attractive engineered wood floors for a beautiful home.
Uncompromising in quality, classic in design and universally applicable: the Classic line is created for people with high design and quality requirements.
Real beauty amazes not only the eye: the natural-looking surfaces of the Parador engineered wood floors, together with the bevel image, offer an impressively coherent overall experience. While the bevel design distinguishes the characteristic profile of the floor, the texture embossing accentuates the materiality of the decor significantly, such as wood, stone or concrete. It is embossed deeper and flatter, but is always perceptible and friendly to those who walk on it barefoot, with shoes or on four paws: hard-wearing and easy to care for.
Surface structures
Elephant Skin
Wood features like grains, knots and cracks are treated by the craftsman and presented in detail. The hand-made »Elephant Skin« surface thus reinforces the unique character of each plank. The result is an aged and almost historic-looking floor.
Brushed structure
Finishing the wood surface with stainless steel brushes intensifies the natural grain of the wood. The wood texture is not only visible but also provides an authentic feel.
Handscraped
Specialists finish every single plank individually by hand with traditional craftsmanship. During the production of Parador »handscraped«, manual planing gives the floor a very original, authentic character.
Handcrafted
Hand-finished surface with discreet features that emphasise the originality of the wood flooring.
Soft structure
A deep, intensive brushing with soft transitions.

Environmental Product Declaration
EPDs are becoming increasingly important with regards to energy efficiency, sustainability and the increasing prevalence of building certifications. An EPD is based on ISO 14025. The core element of the EPD is the ecological assessment, in which the whole life cycle of a product is disclosed.

The CE marking is obligatory according to EU law in connection with product safety. It is not a seal of approval (quality mark). The manufacturer or distributor confirms the conformity of the product with the applicable EU Construction Products Regulation (BauPVO) 305/2011 (since 01 July 2013) and compliance with the "essential requirements" specified there via a declaration of performance (DOP). Since 01 July 2007, the CE marking pursuant to EN 14041 is obligatory for “resilient, textile flooring and laminate flooring".
