Materiality
Modular ONE only uses certified raw materials for the ecological production of this healthy living product. The production is free of plasticisers. For the decor layer we use the sophisticated material polypropylene, which gives the flooring its unmistakable properties. Polypropylene is a healthy living material without plasticisers, which is also used in toys, health-related items and food packaging among other things. The carrier material of the Modular ONE flooring is a special core board, which is specially adapted for wet rooms. It gives the floor a flexible strength and thanks to its special coating guarantees that the flooring is water resistant for up to 100 hours (herringbone: 1 hour) in the case of standing water. A very special advantage of Modular ONE is the excellent footfall and walking sound insulation thanks to the natural substance cork on the reverse side, which helps to create optimal room acoustics.

Parador Modular ONE is characterised by a functional composition and intelligent technology. Our click system thus guarantees easy installation. The swell-protected special core board not only provides reliable protection against moisture, but is also particularly dimensionally stable and ideal for installation in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, in conservatories and in large rooms. Identifies low-emission products made of wood and wood materials. The test criteria include requirements regarding: origin of wood, formaldehyde, VOC, indoor air quality, packaging, recycling/waste disposal, consumer information and requirements for liquid and normal coating systems.

FloorScore® is the one of the most recognized indoor air quality
(IAQ) certification standards for hard surface flooring materials,
adhesives, and underlayments. Developed by SCS with the Resilient
Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), a leading industry trade association
of flooring manufacturers and suppliers, it qualifies for many green
building schemes including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHPS.
CE marking
The CE marking is obligatory according to EU law in connection with product safety. It is not a seal of approval (quality mark). The abbreviation "CE" stands for Communauté Européenne (French for "European Community"). The CE marking is frequently called a "passport" for the internal European market. The manufacturer or distributor confirms the conformity of the product with the applicable EU Construction Products Regulation (BauPVO) 305/2011 (since 01 July 2013) and compliance with the "essential requirements" specified there via a declaration of performance (DOP). Since 01 July 2007, the CE marking pursuant to EN 14041 is obligatory for “resilient, textile flooring and laminate flooring".
TÜV Rheinland certified
The TÜV test mark guarantees perfect product quality, product safety, comprehensible user documentation and independent monitoring of the product by the objective institute TÜV Rheinland Germany.
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes
This trademark is awarded to products that meet the requirements of the certification system for the documentation and improvement of sustainable forest management with regards to economic, ecological and social standards. The content of the certification system is based on international resolutions that were passed by 37 nations in the pan-European process during the Ministerial Conference for the Protection of Forests in Europe (Helsinki, Lisbon 1998).
Environmental Product Declaration
EPDs are becoming increasingly important with regards to energy efficiency, sustainability and the increasing prevalence of building certifications. An EPD is based on ISO 14025. The core element of the EPD is the ecological assessment, in which the whole life cycle of a product is disclosed.
