Newly established Commercial Business Unit and extended product management
Coesfeld, September of 2018 – Staff changes at Parador: Frank Beerhorst, former Director of Product Management at the Coesfeld manufacturer for flooring, wall, and ceiling design products, now takes on the management of the new Commercial Business Unit, which focuses on the global project business and will strategically expand it.
Along with this change, Parador also refocuses its product management and divides it into two areas of competence: the "Plastics and wood-based materials" unit will combine the product groups vinyl flooring, modular flooring, and laminate flooring, including accessories. This unit will be headed by Christoph Wellekötter, who until now has been responsible for Parador's resilient floor coverings unit.
The second unit "Engineered wood flooring and interior design" combines the areas wood flooring, panels, and mouldings. Newly created business areas will also be assigned to this unit in the future. This unit has been headed by Michael Meier since the beginning of September, who is new to the Coesfeld company. Meier previously worked in different functions at well-known companies in the flooring industry, the window and door industry, as well as the paint and varnish industry. "With these structural measures we are pooling the know-how in this growth and revenue segment, which is very important for our company, in order to utilise synergies in an even more targeted manner," explains Dirk Nowak, Product & Brand Director. And he continues: "With this development, Parador meets the needs of the activities in the project business, which we already initiated, while we simultaneously create structures to establish new business areas." This new structure distributes tasks more broadly so that we can respond more quickly to market demands.
