Coesfeld, January 2018 – The engineered wood flooring range 2018 awaits with impressive new products: a total of 35 new items pick up on current wood, colour, surface and format trends.
New colour accents and popular classics
Oak continues to remain a favourite in 2018, and in the new season it impresses in particular with its great variety: new looks and formats show this classic in the best light.
The play of colours ranges from light to warm, rich tones. Beech is experiencing a comeback with attractive interpretations and shows what it can do in a trend-oriented environment:
with its warm, light and calm colour, beech is a perfect match for trendy Scandinavian chic and impresses with a fresh, modern look. Coniferous woods such as larch are also gaining ground, inspiring with their multi-faceted play of colours and rich tones.
In addition to oversize plank formats, Parador is also increasingly showing current block flooring looks in 2018. A particular highlight in the Trendtime 9 assortment is the elegant "Chevron" installation pattern for a sophisticated, classic and yet contemporary flooring design. The French version of the classic herringbone installation, which is also in great demand, is experiencing a revival and setting new trend standards.
Four products have been added to the popular Trendtime 8 assortment with the "Handcrafted" texture, a discreetly hand-finished surface with an impressive natural quality.
With the new "Soft texture" Parador extends its surface expertise by adding a very deeply brushed texture with soft transitions, whose look and feel invites you to walk on it barefoot.
The Classic, Trendtime and Eco Balance assortments are being given the newly developed "Natural oil plus" formula, which ensures a "ready-to-install" natural surface, protects the flooring even better, increases its everyday fitness for purpose and provides a beautiful look and feel. Planks with natural oil plus are directly ready to install.
With the successful Eco Balance engineered wood flooring assortment, Parador offers modern, ecological living in style.
The assortment, which retains its value very well thanks to its resource-friendly, 2.5-mm thick top layer out of a total thickness of 13 mm, is reinforced by two additional formats:
the architectural "wide strip" in the format 1170x120x13mm and the popular "chateau plank" in the generous 2380x233x13mm format. Two new oak assortments and surface finishes are available in each of these two new formats with a total of nine articles, thus covering the top-selling items.
